1. Introduction & Data Controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the GoDeliva mobile app (Android package com.godelivaapp) as well as the website https://godelivapp.com.

GoDeliva is firmly committed to protecting the privacy of its users (customers, riders and partner merchants) in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations.

2. Personal data collected

As part of operating our delivery platform, we collect the following data:

• Identity and contact information: First and last name, email address, phone number, delivery postal address.
• Geolocation data (GPS): Exact real-time GPS position (needed for rider tracking, selecting nearby merchants and calculating delivery routes).
• Connection and device information: Unique device identifier, IP address, phone model, operating system, error logs.
• Order and transaction history: Items ordered, purchase amounts, delivery status and preferences.
• Third-party authentication: When you use the "Continue with Google" button, we only receive your email, name and profile photo.
• Photos and files you send us: Profile picture, photos of items you list for sale, and the handover photo taken by the courier when you cannot show your delivery code. These files are hosted on our servers.

Your data is collected for the following purposes:

• Processing, delivery and real-time tracking of your orders.
• Creating and managing your user account.
• Sending push notifications about your order status (via Firebase Messaging).
• Displaying advertisements (via Google AdMob & Google AdSense).
• Analyzing usage and improving app stability (via Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics).
• Customer support, fraud prevention and dispute resolution.

5. Sharing data with third parties

Your data is never sold. It may be securely shared with the following third parties, strictly as needed for the service:

• Partner riders and restaurants: only your first name, delivery address and phone number, to deliver the order.
• Google services: Google Maps API (route calculation), Firebase (notifications & analytics), Google AdMob and Google AdSense (advertising).
• Secure payment providers: Stripe for encrypted card payment processing.

7. Security and data retention

We implement technical and organizational security measures (SSL/TLS HTTPS encryption, secure PostgreSQL/Redis databases, restricted access) to prevent any unauthorized access, alteration or loss of your data. Your data is kept for as long as your account is active, or as required by legal obligations.

8. Your rights and account deletion

In accordance with regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, port and delete your personal data.

You can request the complete deletion of your account and associated data at any time:

• From the app: Profile ➔ Edit my profile ➔ Delete my account.
